This journey to become a photographer has been a long time coming. I've had dreams of taking this leap for almost 10 years now. I purchased my first DSLR camera in 2011 after graduating from Clemson University. I'd always had a passion for photos from disposable cameras, to film, and then digital point and shoot. I have to give some credit to my mom for instilling a love photographs in me. After I was born, she joined Creative Memories (photo album company). Her love of documenting special moments in life, and storing them beautifully in albums sparked something in me to want that in my life too. I want others to experience the joy of looking back at old photos and reminiscing.

The art of creating an image fires me up. I've loved learning how to navigate cameras in manual mode and be able to manipulate the outcome of my image vs having the camera do all the work. Most of my experience has come from practice but I've taken a few courses to enhance my skills along the way. I am constantly working to improve my skills and want to continue to challenge my creative "lens".

My dream is to be able to stay home to raise my daughter, Jane (and potential future children) while also being a #girlboss. I want to show Jane that it is possible to achieve your goals even if they scare you. I always think that if they don't scare you, they aren't big enough.
